Probe specifications

The DNA probe concentrations have been optimized to deliver the strongest signal and lowest background possible for the intended target of hybridization. The probe is designed to be used in a final volume of 10 µl for use with a 22mm x 22 mm cover slip. Smaller cover slips may be used with less probe volume when necessary.
The probe should never be diluted with water or any other solution to increase the number of tests. This will seriously negatively affect the performance of the product.
Each vial of probe is guaranteed to contain 100 µl of probe solution. This amount is sufficient for 10 tests at 10 µl per test.
Expiration dating for each probe is established as two years from the filling date of the vial contents. The probes are guaranteed to perform well within that two year period if proper shipping and proper storage conditions have been maintained. Performance beyond the expiration date cannot be guaranteed.
All probes should be stored at minus 20єC and away from direct light for optimal storage longevity.
